For those
with a very serious interest in the SV project they will have
realised a while ago that a Supercharged version of the car
exists.
Many people knew of the Red car
(110) - but a Silver one also existed.
These cars
use the cheaper 2v 4.6 litre Ford engine, but with the addition
of a Rousch supercharger. This engine produces a genuine a
385bhp at the flywheel for less money than the SVR conversion
would cost. This then produces more horsepower for less money to
produce than an SVS! And arguably delivered in a better fashion.
What the
final price of these cars would have been is a guestimate. But
under the last pricing we witnessed I guess £80k.
